x2 have been running holidays and short courses since 2004 and believe that creativity can blossom when feeling relaxed and inspired.
Beginners through to practising artists work alongside each other, in small groups.
The holidays are structured to suit individuals; personal direction and support is given by the two artist-tutors and there is opportunity for freedom in independent work. We can offer bespoke art courses and holidays to suit the needs of your group.

Each day we will focus on different techniques relating to the work of the Dutch painter Piet Mondrain. We will be looking at his colour, line and shape to enable you to explore and develop your own painting.

We all need time to find a new budding creative spirit, kickstart our passion for painting and drawing or be surrounded by beauty in which to reflect whilst having fun making art. x2 Art Holidays are celebrated for exploring your own personal creativity with like-minded people in a relaxed and inspiring environment. The soft colours and rolling hills of the Gers are the perfect backdrop. Delicious home-produced meals and a selection of the wonderful local wines give you a taste of the region's culinary delights.
This holiday is designed for you to explore the work of a different artist each day and experiment with their technique. There is a day trip to local artist who is a ceramicist and printmaker, Mollie Brotherton, who will inspire and guide you. This art holiday has an extra day added to enable you to work independently (with guidance if needed,) to incorporate that learning in developing a piece of work, in your chosen artist's style.
